I’m starting a project with a few friends of mine, and we need the help of all the 30 Seconds to Mars fans…
….Or as many as we can get our hands on.
We are starting a documentary about the Echelon, and we need your help:
We are asking fans to send in videos of themselves. Please include the following (or as many as you can):

Your name, age, and where your from.
How long you have been a 30 Seconds to Mars fan?
What or Who introduced you to the band’s music?
What do you love about each individual band member?
Has 30 Seconds to Mars’ music helped you overcome any obstacles in your life? If so, please give an example.
What are some things you love about the Echelon?
What are somethings you dislike about the Echelon? (Things you think need improvement.)
Share any experiences you’ve had meeting the band, involvement in projects such as Faces of Mars and/or The Summit, promo projects, visits to The Hive, etc.
Include a personal message to the band. (If you had the chance to tell them anything, what would it be.)

Please email your videos to echelonmission@gmail.com.
Do not include any music or other media along with the video. Your video will be one piece of a huge project. We just need a video of you talking.
Don’t worry about mistakes you make while speaking, I will be editing the videos so perfection is not necessary.
Please continue to spread the word about this!

UNICEF is urgently appealing for emergency assistance to aid victims of a devastating earthquake that rocked Haiti. Funds are needed to provide safe water, temporary shelter systems and medical supplies. American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is pledging an initial $200,000 to assist communities impacted by the earthquake and is prepared to take further action as local responders assess the situation. As with most earthquakes, the greatest immediate needs are food, water, medical services and emotional support.

30 Seconds To Mars, The Bravery, Silver Sun Pickups and My Chemical Romance (above) are the bands that will make an appearance at the Sundance Film Festival as part of a new offering called the “Tweet House,” to be held from Jan. 22 to Jan. 25 at the Yoga Shop near Main street.

“The Parnassus Group, the originators of the well known “140” Twitter Conferences, introduces the ‘Tweet House’ as a celebration of Twitter’s global influence, specifically in the arenas of the entertainment and music industries,” a press release states. “‘The “Tweet House’ will feature day time panel discussions, amidst the backdrop of an industry lounge. The evening’s activities will feature film premiere receptions and live musical performances hosted by Relentless Media, including 30 Seconds To Mars, The Bravery, Silver Sun Pickups andMy Chemical Romance, as well as a surprise performance to close the event on Sunday, January 24. The ‘Tweet House’ at Sundance will serve as a hub of activity where Hollywood elite, from celebrities to industry influentials, prominent members of the tech community and global media representatives, will connect to discuss hot topics from film to music to technology to brand marketing, sharing their approaches to using Twitter and other essential internet social-centric tools and technologies to get the word out. During the day, dozens of members of the “Twiterati” will be giving presentations on how to best take advantage of the world’s top microblogging platform.”

(RTTNews) – Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds to Mars began a Twitter contest this week in which they will give away “30 Guitars in 30 Days” to the band’s Twitter followers. All the band’s followers have to do is post a single Tweet in order to qualify for the contest.

The contest is co-presented by Culture Jam and Michael Kelly Guitars, and fans can enter the contest by sending a single Tweet through Culture Jam’s custom application. The band will then select one winner daily and award them with 1 of 30 custom Nostalgia Series guitars.

The contest is a promotional vehicle for the band’s upcoming album This is War. The album is due out December 8, with the first single, “Kings + Queens” due out October 13.
